This year’s theme is The Crone and the Witch and focuses around the story of La Bruha – a wise woman at the edge of the village who helps everyone…and everyone loves her, except the judge who throws her in jail because he thinks she’s a witch!  What happens next?

Gather at the Triangle Playground at 5:30pm.

Meet us at the Triangle Playground, where our giant bird and the Rhythms of Resistance Samba Band will lead us in procession to the field.

There, we’ll form one big circle for our moment of ceremony. Together, we’ll pause: lights out, noise stops, and for a moment, we stand in silence.

And then… silence is broken!

Bring something to make noise as we fill the field with sound and continue together towards the Woodfield Pavilion.

From 6:00pm — The Gathering continues at the Woodfield

6:00-8:00pm Silent Disco (book in advance)

6:30 - Old Palace Clog

7:00 - Simon the Fire-Eater

From 7:30 - As darkness falls carry on dancing in the field, toast marshmallows, eat, drink and spend time with friends, neighbours and strangers.

7:30 - 8:45 Improvised Electronica by Julius

9:00 - home time

Food will be provided by professional chef RICHARD UNDERHILL (who you may remember from Richard’s Kitchen in Tooting Bec). Furzedown PTA is providing sweet snacks and KATHY PINTO is on the GLITTER TATTOOS! The giant bird was constructed by local children, designed and led by FROG MORRIS.
