Who we are
Alison Royce
Founder & Co-Artistic Director
Alison is a seasoned storyteller and prior to 2022 devised and produced 3 major events on Tooting Common: The Jigsaw Horse, Sir Gawain and the Lady of the Lake and The Pied Piper. These events involved hundreds of children and adults making props and pieces for multi-art-form parade with coordinated music, storytelling, fire eaters, stilt walkers, and choirs. Royce has also worked on story-based projects at Sprout, as part of Furzedown Festival and Wandsworth Arts Fringe. In 2022 Royce and Billings devised and produced the first Festival of the Dead. The inaugural event engaged around 900 people in a fortnight of creative workshops, talks, film and ending with a joyous parade.
